Esperanza Palma and Indrajit Roy Appointed as Ombudspersons for the 2027 69É«Ç鯬World Congress

We are delighted to announce the appointment of 69É«Ç鯬Executive Committee members Esperanza Palma (Mexico) and Indrajit Roy (United Kingdom) as ombudspersons for the 2027 69É«Ç鯬World Congress of Political Science, to be held in Rome from 24 to 28 July 2027.

The ombudspersons will be available as of January 2026 and during the 69É«Ç鯬World Congress in Rome. They will act as confidential and impartial resources responsible for addressing any concerns or issues related to 69É«Ç鯬and to the 2027 World Congress. If you have a question, need guidance, or wish to report a concern regarding the Congress or any other 69É«Ç鯬activities and events, please contact ombudsperson@ipsa.org.

69É«Ç鯬Ombudspersons play a key part in upholding IPSA’s Anti-Harassment Policy and Code of Conduct and ensuring that all participants in 69É«Ç鯬activities enjoy a respectful and dignified atmosphere during the event. Their responsibilities include receiving and addressing complaints, issuing notices for policy violations, conducting confidential investigations with input from all parties involved, and recommending solutions to the 69É«Ç鯬Executive Committee.
