As part of the growing collaboration between 69É«ÇéƬand the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR), 69É«ÇéƬwill be present at the 2026 ECPR General Conference, a prestigious global event that will be held in Kraków, Poland, from 8-11 September 2026. ECPR’s General Conference promotes innovative thinking, facilitates in-depth discussion and nurtures the development of research across all sub-disciplines of political science.

69É«ÇéƬPast President Marianne Kneuer will chair an 69É«ÇéƬroundtable titled How to Rebuild Democracies after Backsliding? at the 2026 ECPR General Conference in Kraków, Poland, on 10 September 2026.

The roundtable will feature Boglárka Koller (Professor, Ludovika University of Public Service (Hungary) and President of the Central European Political Science Association); Izolda Bokszczanin-Gołaś (Professor, University of Warsaw and Head of the Warsaw Branch of the Polish Political Science Association); Petra Guasti (Associate Professor of Democratic Theory, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University in Prague); and Tim Haughton (Professor, Department of Political Science and International Studies, University of Birmingham).
