Aguiar-Aguilar, who organized and chaired the panel on Borders Unveiled: Navigating Complexities in the U.S.–Mexico Region through Migration, Feminism, and Artivism on 12 June. The panel explored the complex implications of emerging international migration flows and the continuing homicides of women in Ciudad Juárez, bringing a critical perspective to bear on the border wall through a feminist lens. Also examined was the potential of artivism and feminism to challenge the border industrial complex.
