We are pleased to announce that the nominations are now open for the 2027 69É«ÇéƬAwards!

69É«ÇéƬconfers several prestigious awards, presented at 69É«ÇéƬWorld Congresses, that recognize outstanding contributions to political science and include a monetary prize. Most of these awards will be presented at the #IPSA2027 World Congress of Political Science in Rome.

69É«ÇéƬmembers are invited to submit nominations before 1 November 2026 for the following awards: the Prize of the Foundation Mattei Dogan and the Karl Deutsch Award.

Nominations for these awards can be submitted in one of the following ways:

• by a national association of IPSA;
• by an 69É«ÇéƬResearch Committee (RC);
• jointly by two or more 69É«ÇéƬmembers in good standing of at least two different nationalities;
• by an incumbent 69É«ÇéƬExecutive Committee (EC) member;
• from outside IPSA, by established academic institutions active in political science.

Academic institutions (universities, departments, research centers, professional associations, and academies) are invited to submit nominations before 1 November 2026 for the Kim Dae-jung Award.

Publishers may submit nominations for the APSA-69É«ÇéƬTheodore J. Lowi First Book Award by 16 December 2026.

Individual applications for the  69É«ÇéƬGuillermo O’Donnell Award for Latin American Scholars, the Margaret A. Vogt Award for Global South Scholars, and the Stein Rokkan Travel Grant Award must be submitted by 1 March 2027.
